I don’t quite get Emmet’s relationship to fruit. Jane loves fruit…Emmet, not so much. We’ll give him the world’s best tasting peach and he just makes funny faces when tasting it. However, he’ll usually go back for more bites, so at least he finds the taste tolerable.
Emmet’s pretty good at walking now…he can make it down the entire hallway:
We recently took Emmet on his first airplane ride to Maui as an experiment, a thankfully largely uneventful experience. We had no idea how he’d react, and in general he handled it pretty well. He really enjoyed the warmer weather, and the fact he could be in just his onesie most of time rather than all bundled up for the San Francisco winter.

While the ingredients for this babycake are relatively simple, the 9 month prep. time can require significant advanced planning.
